Psychology Graduate Students Participate in Professional Visits Program at UNAM Chicago

Daniela Ramirez and Andrea Guerra, graduate students from the School of Psychology at UNAM, participated in our Professional Visits Program where they carried out a series of activities with the objective of enriching their academic training.
Both students gave a training session at the Mexican Consulate in Chicago on strategies of containment in times of crisis, aimed at the staff of the diplomatic headquarters, and attended a talk on domestic violence given by the group Mujeres Latinas en Acción at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
They also visited the Romero Center and DePaul University, where they met with Maria Ferreira and Raj Shah, co-directors of The Center for Community Health Equity and The Coalition for Immigrant Mental Health.
At the Irwin W. Steans Cen Servicio they participated in a conference on community service from the ABCD perspective.
Both students expressed the richness of their participation in this program organized by UNAM Chicago in collaboration with the schools of our University.
