UNAM Chicago inaugurates exhibition Muralism, Mexico reinterpreted

Updated: May 19

The National University, through the Institute of Aesthetic Research and Gaceta UNAM, organized this year a series of academic activities, from conferences and panels, to the creation of multimedia material to celebrate 100 years of Muralism in Mexico. It is "a great project whose main porpuse is to make known some of the murals that are part of our heritage, and thus promote a process of collective reflection on the origin and context of their creation," said Guillermo Pulido, director of UNAM Chicago, during the inauguration of a photographic exhibition in that space.
